Pick The Winner (12/11)

Ladies and gentlemen, it is a light night with only three games but each ones does offer a bit of intrigue even as the winter deep freeze begins to take shape. For one thing, you would like to make a little extra money before Christmas, right? After all, it is just two weeks from the big holiday.

As always on "Pick The Winner", we try to give you the best chance to win. Now though we do not provide our predictions daily, you will want to check your lines at SportsBettingOnline.ag. This will get you ready at least to make the most informed pick that you possibly can. So let's get down to business, shall we?

Philadelphia Flyers Vs. Chiacgo Blackhawks — Take Chicago and run!

Honestly the line does not matter here. Chicago, even without Corey Crawford has the talent to expose a slow and at times plodding Philadelphia squad. Yes the Flyers do have the potential to score but still for whatever reason they are in the bottom third in goals for. Chicago is in the top third and that is almost all you need to know. Frankly, ESPN experts we talked to chuckled that Chicago's bottom six could even run circles around Philadelphia's top defensemen. That could be a good sign for bettors looking to get in on a quick hit.

If we had an actual score for this game, what would it be? Based on running our NHL 14 simulator, it looked like an easy 5-2 win for Chicago. On the extremes there was a 7-1 blowout and a 4-2 win for Philadelphia. This was out of ten simulations.

Again, do keep in mind our predictions are right about 65% of the time. Why? The reason is we do pick the best of the best. Also, we do not bet for that much money. By betting small and modest amounts, it keeps us picking more games and learning the craft because in sports betting, one is always fine tuning. Hopefully in the coming weeks and months, we will be able to go a bit more in depth into our rationale and pass that on to you, the reader/consumer.

Good luck tonight and get those picks in as there are only three games on the docket.
