Well we have made it to February and so has This Day. We searched near and far for a moment perfect for the start of the month and we think we found one. Since the trade deadline is just weeks away, why not get the month going with yes a trade. Before there was Mike Sillinger, who seemed to get traded every year, there was this guy who almost always seemed to be traded as well. Today we have an odd sort of treat in the sense that before Sillinger, there was the immortal Brent Ashton. As always, there is a little video before the moment. Enjoy.

Calgary obtained Brent Ashton in trade from Boston, in exchange for C.J. Young. The Flames became Ashton’s eighth NHL team, tied for the most teams of any player in NHL history.
