This Day In Hockey History (10/31)

Sometimes a moment just goes so fast it seems like it vanished and then it happens again.  Well let us see what occurred on this day 24 years ago.  Not only was this a real scream but was quite the stunner too.  The strangest fact was the following.  Chicago accomplished this feat and yet still managed to loes the game.  Ah those crazy high scoring games were priceless.  First, the video and then the gem like we always do it.

 

 

October 31, 1987


Chicago Blackhawks’ set a team record with two shorthanded goals twelve seconds apart, early in the third period in a 6-5 loss at Toronto. Troy Murray and Denis Savard scored to set the mark.

This Day In Hockey History (10/31)

This one is a very interesting stat so this one is definitely a treat and not a treat.  It happened 7 years ago so enjoy Vancouver fans.

 

 

October 31, 2003

Vancouver Canucks became the second team in NHL history to score the first goal of the game in its first 11 games of the season, in a 4-1 win against the Coyotes at Phoenix.
