It is time for fantasy players of various sports to have their due but for hockey fans, this is hopefully a site that has some teeth and most importantly sticks. We want to wish a hearty welcome to a new site coming out Thursday that will hopefully give us fantasy hockey GM’s a place to slug it out like the rabid fans we are. Fantasy Sports Court will literally be a site that settles disputes like a judge, jury, and executioner would.
Think of the potential hockey debates that could be had here. You simply present your arguement and someone takes you on as the defendant. Remember as in court cases, the plaintiff has the burden of proof. All the defendant really needs to do is put doubt in the jury (you). It is voted on by peers and fans alike most importantly with comments at the bottom. If you have a hot buttoned fantasy topic and you want it heard, post your case and then see where it takes you.
Since the sad demise of Sports2Debate, we had been looking for a more grass roots site to get behind. This is simplistic and not too fancy. Sorry I like my meat and potatoes debates personally and this gets right to the heart of the matter. One better bring their “A Game” here because there is no room for whimpering or crying.
Some of the debates so far have really been relentless and literally you need to come in with a strong stomach and open mind. Closed mind means you lose simply put. We will be profiling the site on the show tomorrow because we have the feeling that many will get a lot out of this site and would really appreciate people taking a look at least.
Right now the site is in beta form until Thursday but after that, look out! No fantasy topic is out of bounds and believe me there are some debates in the opening stages that may just blow one’s mind. We hope you can not only check out the site but also join it. The verdicts alone with dissenting opinions are going to be something that really takes debates a step further. Thanks again.
Sincerely,
Chris Wassel
