This Day In Hockey History (7/3)

Again it is a very light day and since the Fourth Of July is tomorrow, we will try to keep the moment as brief as possible.  This is another case of a UFA signing gone well and it occurred 13 years ago today.  Usually, snipers are hard to come by and this was no exception.

 

 

July 03, 1998


Dallas Stars announced the signing of unrestricted free agent Brett Hull.  He would go on to win the Stanley Cup the very next season with Dallas in rather controversial fashion.
