With only two games tonight, it was hard to choose one player who stood out. We went a bit against the grain here but in the biggest game of the night, this guy came up huge in the end. After all, the end is what matters in those kinds of games anyway. So with a goal and an assist, Scotty Hartnell of the Philadelphia Flyers wins our fantasy player of the night over players like Evgeni Malkin (2 goals), JS Giguere (23 saves, win) and even yes Sidney Crosby (2 assists).
Yes it was a tough choice but a much needed one as Hartnell did score the GWG (Game Winning Goal). Again, two games leaves few options and more to second guess. However, we would like to think that we got this one right at least. With more games later tonight, there should hopefully be some truly outstanding performances.
