Pick The Winner

AT 47-11. we decided on taking Sunday and Monday off to give the world and ourselves a break.  The streak has been crazy to start the year and hopefully it can continue.  Moneylines and betting are always an inexact science.  This involves more skill than most people think but a majority of picking winners is still luck and happenstance.  Thanks again to the fine folks from betus.com who have supported us during the early part of the year.

So this sets up a very interesting night.  By the way  Boston was going off at about a -200 and +1 1/2 before the wager was taken off.  It will be interesting if it stays off as it was a potentially good investment.  With a road favorite (Vancouver) tossed in tonight and the overall uncertainty of how Todd Richards and his suicide skating regimen will actually work tonight, we pick anyway.

TONIGHT’S PICKS

  • San Jose
  • Minnesota
  • Calgary

Yes these seem like crazy choices but keep in mind that San Jose is due to snap out of the funk they are in.  Minnesota usually plays well at home early in the season and Nashville is set up for a potential trap game here against Calgary.   While I am not using the Stone Cold Locks here, I can say the San Jose pick may be the best one of the night.  That is one angry team.

Also we may add more as to why the Boston-Washington game was taken off the boards.  I would have picked Boston to be honest.  Who would you have picked tonight?  Fire your answers here or on twitter.  Thanks so much.
