Is This Really The End?

We will try to find out more about this but people had been noticing Ballhype was down.  Ballhype was a nice site that oraganized stories and let bloggers interact in groups.  So I figured maybe I would check again this morning, but sadly I was greeted by the following message:

Thank you for your interest, but the website you are trying to visit is no longer being supported.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank our bloggers, visitors, and advertisers who have supported our sites.

Ballhype has been taken down.  Now the question becomes what will former Ballhype users do now.  Sure the answer is simple.  They will use Facebook, Technorati, and stumbleupon amongst many others.  Yes it is not the end of the world for bloggers but Ballhype will be missed by many.  This happens in social media a lot more than people think but when it happens to a bigger site like this, it does cause a few waves.

Rest in peace Ballhype if you are really gone.

Sincerely,

Chris Wassel
