This Day In Hockey History (8/12)

Today we have a slightly late bloomer.  This moment happened 27 years ago and for a few years, this guy was well…a beneficiary of playing with some guy I simply call #66.

 

 

August 12, 1983


Pittsburgh Penguins signed free agent Warren Young. He made the NHL rookie team one year later after scoring 40 goals in his first full NHL season (at age 29).
