This Day In Hockey History (6/8)

Today’s moment is really about one of the old men and the sea.  No really this guy was old and yet he did something special.  Go figure.  Here it is for your perusal.

Igor Larionov scored twice, including the winning goal at 14:47 of the 3rd overtime in the Red Wings 3-2 win at Carolina, in Game 3 of the Stanley Cup Finals. Larionov (at age 41) became the oldest player to score a goal in the Finals.
