LONG TIME NO SEE!

Since Feb. 27, 2003, the Atlanta Thrashers have not played the Colorado Avalanche because of the lockout, but Thursday night the two hockey clubs will meet when the Thrashers play the Avs.

It seems so strange to me that the Thrashers and Avalanche haven’t played each other since 2003! That’s absurd! The NHL should come up with a schedule that has each hockey club playing each other at least once during the regular season, yeah there are a hell of a lot of hockey teams in the league and that would be a lot of traveling, but it would give the Thrashers a chance for a little variety!!!! Lets hope the Thrashers can have a big win tonight to help them keep their playoff spot!

Three Thrashers are gonna get a treat tonight when playing the Avalanche, Greg de Vries won the Stanley Cup with the Avalanche in 2001 and Brad Larsen played for Colorado until coming to Atlanta in 2003; along with Greg De Vries, Coach Bob Hartley was along side him to win the Stanley Cup! LETS GO THRASHERS
