Today we look at maybe even two blogs you should be checking out on a chilly Friday. That of course depends on where you are. This week we take a quick look at Puckdrop. Time for us to take a look at the folks from Puckdrop and what they are up to this hockey season.
If you have not noticed by now…Puckdrop has undergone a major facelift. The site is now much easier to browse and easier to read as well. The handy tabs and ways to subscribe bar also make life much better for those who enjoy the site. However at The Program, we like it for all the diverse content. Who are we kidding? It does not hurt that they have a Ustream channel as well. Hey you have to like that. More ways to get the hockey message out there..the more fun.
The streamlined content comes from many sources….almost ticker like in its brief format but obviously you can click for more on the article. Then I ran across this gem just for example about Greatest Games. Some of these most probably never saw but they should. Here is the link. That is the kind of thing you will see on Puckdrop….not just the what you have likely seen a million times but also the highly unexpected and intriguing. There is a mix of both for every kind of hockey fan.
It is this simple format that makes it easier for fans to interact. Their traffic has been steady as she goes and rising since the new format dropped to the masses. The new pics section caught my eye as well. As the guys update this…it should be pretty cool. I like pond hockey and have not played in years so anytime I see even a picture…it makes me go back to a time when there was so much fun. Yes it centers me!
So if you want hockey coming from many different angles and ways…go check out Puckdrop today. Hell what are you waiting for really? Global warming? The Rangers to win the Cup? Get on to it and hope to see you there!
Sincerely,
Chris Wassel
