The first Power Rankings from The Program are coming Friday….therefore eyebrows will then be raised at that time. Tonight we pass along a quick update from The Injury Ticker before the games. Sure there are only four of them but there is still a moderate chance of injuries tonight.

We are only 2 off the high set 3 weeks ago at 128 on November 10th. There are several undisclosed injuries on the injury report yet we know Ovechkin’s (knee) but it is listed as undisclosed. For a complete list, here is TSN’s injury counter. For some other numbers…we are at exactly double the amount of injuries from December 1st of last year (63).
Expect the number to go down a bit in the next couple weeks before ramping up around the holidays. Players always seem to be hurt around then to take advantage of extra helpings of Christmas dinner and more. Next injury ticker update expected to be on Friday Night.
