Our classic today is from this day one year ago……enjoy.
Hockey Night In Canada on Thanksgiving!!!!
This is the time of night where you just want to wind down, kick back, and relax. Right now I am watching the Toronto-Ottawa game and although it is not extremely impressive….it is pleasant to see some hockey. Nick Foligno has gone out with an injury in the first period….and Mike Fisher (OTT) and Nikolai Kulemin (TOR) have the tallies.
Personally it will be interesting to see what lines up for the rest of the night. The late matchup features Calgary Vs. Vancouver. I am calling for a Calgary upset here over the Canucks. The surge of adrenaline from the Luongo injury is likely to have worn off some. The question is how much has it actually. I do expect big games from the likes of Cammalleri and Iginla. Even Miikka Kiprusoff could be considered a moderate to slightly strong start.
The funny thing is tomorrow is an early hockey wakeup for yours truly as there is 9am hockey on the left coast here. With 11 games…I am going to try and cover as many as I can on Black Friday. I am most certainly not going out of the house…not here…NO WAY!!! So stock up the leftovers and make sure you have enough to drink and you should be set on a Freaky Friday.
Needless to say rest up folks and gear up for the weekend. The party is just getting started. We covered a little bit today on our Fantasy Hockey Thanksgiving Special and hopefully more on Sunday. Relax and enjoy the two games for the night folks!
