Good morning…it is Veterans Day! Here is a moment that people may not remember at all. No, most have probably never heard of it. Here it goes…..



The wrong way…here is the right way.

November 11, 1943


Clint Smith scored twice, including the first empty net goal in NHL history, after Bruins’ coach Art Ross pulled goalie Bert Gardiner with his team trailing 5-4. Smith made history at 19:12, and gave Chicago a 6-4 win at Boston Garden.
