The Marian Gaborik Injury Survival Guide…

Back in healthier days……
BallHype: hype it up!

Now the Marian Gaborik injury survival guide. This is a short synopsis of what to do as you are waiting for the results of tests on your star player that makes or breaks your entire season. Every Ranger fan did fear this and if they did not…they were kidding themselves. The key in all of this first and foremost is the fact that nothing has been revealed yet and also that Gaborik appeared to be okay while signing autographs.

So this may be a false alarm for now but the question is what happens when the real thing happens? This is why we do this like a fire drill everyone. First off before any of this consult a Minnesota Wild fan before starting.

10 Things to do while waiting for results……

Find video of all 10 Gaborik goals this season (that should take up an hour or more).

Search the usual Ranger sites and forums for the absolute latest news including what time Gaborik ate breakfast this morning.

If you have a Marian Gaborik bobblehead…pray to it for divine intervention that the lower body injury is nothing serious.

Email the Rangers to see if you can suit up.

Keep emphasizing to any and all friends…this is not a hip or groin injury. At press time, it appears that is true by the way.

If you have the Rangers in 60 DVR’d….start watching…that will take up most of the day if you have several. Fast forward when the Gaborik “collision” happens.

Watch some classic John Tortorella pressers on YouTube….especially the one with Larry Brooks. It will at least make you laugh.

You can even watch the replay of the Islanders losing in Overtime last night. That makes Ranger fans smile.

Any and all Ranger connections to the organization are pointless right now…so draw up injury scenarios or if all else fails…blame the Injury Ninja.

Lastly, blame Glen Sather for making this signing in the first place. For ruining your ability to sleep peacefully at night.

Now keep in mind, there is a key adage here that needs to be said. The best way to win the game is the following. The only way to win is not to play the game. Funny how movies always give you the best advice.
