Raise your Jose Cuervo and Coronas up for a toast as its party, fiesta time…..and chug away as there are two big games today. The matinee is the Wings-Sharks game and the nitecap is the Devils trying to stave off elimination against the Ottawa Senators…and damnit don’t forget the chips and the salsa.

Sens Nation will have the Sens all covered up and the 2 Man Advantage will have the Devils action as Joe and Patricia try not to blow up their computer. San Jose Sharks @ Detroit Red Wings 2pm EDT NBC,TSN
Detroit wants to party today on Cinco De Mayo.
Game 5 will have a unique twist…no Bill Guerin. Guerin is out for Game 5 and maybe longer due to a facial laceration…the story is here. Sharks will just have to come out with more intensity and play a 60 minute road game…they got caught napping late in game 4 and it cost them home ice. Thornton, Marleau, and Cheechoo have to step it up without Guerin. For the Wings, they have to have a huge game from the Datsyuk line and Lidstrom needs to get his shot thru more. Hasek can’t afford any goaltending miscues as the Sharks will come out hungry….thing is so will the Wings…which should set up for a very interesting playoff game with a world of implications. Get your lunch and beer ready and join us for the GDT.

No time to hang your head….its fiesta time!!!!!
Not much needs to be said here……and for one rare occasion…this will be short and sweet. The Sens can eliminate the Devils tonight but the Devils will not retreat and not surrender. Their playoff lives are on the line at the CAA….there will be a ton of fireworks all on the GDT.
