A pivotal Game 5 between the Sabres and Rangers is the only game in town. The Battle of New York will be in full swing as the Rangers try to steal a road game while the Sabres just try to hold serve. This has been a fairly even series and not a lot of people expected that. With that said…its time for the roundup.

This is now a best of 3. There is no turning back for Buffalo…they are in a dogfight of a series against a feisty opponent that won’t take no for an answer. The Sabres need to find their offense tonight….since Game 1 it has gone fairly cold to lukewarm…players like Vanek, Connolly, Afinogenov need to step it up or they may have to face the possibility of an elimination game. The Rangers have been the exact reverse…getting timely goal scoring and some goals that should have been allowed. They need more of the same….the Rangers are going to win 2-1 and 3-2 type games from here on out…that is just how they have to play with what they got. Lundqvist needs to be amazing tonight, he will face far more shots than he did in New York even. However, Miller will be tested as well. Can the Sabres score enough tonight?
