Preds need more goals against the Wings.
And here we go….the battle for division, conference, and league supremacy as the Wings battle the Preds tonight. Expect the unexpected here as Hasek will more than likely face Vokoun in a battle of elite goalies. Henrik Zetterburg is questionable with back spasms but the Wings still pose a formidable attack with Datsyuk, Lidstrom, and company. The Preds counter with a hot offense of their own aside from when they play the Wings for some reason. That has to change tonight…for if it doesn’t….the Wings may just walk away with the Presidents Trophy. Come see all the debate and back and forth on the GDT.

Calgary Flames @ Minnesota Wild 8pm RSW, FSN
Iginla clinches big win for Flames in shootout.
Yes indeed these two faced each other just a couple nites ago. In that game…no one scored till well….the shootout. When Jarome Iginla scored….the Flames finally beat the Wild…and finally won a shootout in what seemed like forever…1-0. The Backstrom vs. Kiprusoff matchup was as advertised. Backstrom stopped 24 and Kiprusoff stopped 38 shots. In what was a great playoff game that could have went multiple OT’s….no one may have scored on these two if there was no shootout…well at least till the wee hours of the morning. So what to expect tonight….more of the same…but the people from The Arena will be on top of it and talking about it on the GDT.
