Playoff “This Day” (6/12)

Well another moment from 12 years ago on “This Day” brings us a gem from the Buffalo and Dallas SCF of 1999.  It is time to take a look into this one as we always do.

 

 

June 12, 1999

Joe Nieuwendyk scored twice to tie a playoff record (held by Joe Sakic) with his 6th game-winning goal of the playoffs as Dallas won 2-1 at Buffalo, in Game 3 of the Stanley Cup Finals.
