First off thanks to Mr. George Brew as always.

Alright kiddies, I don’t write a fantasy hockey column all the time, BUT, because my buddy Chris Wassel has given me the permission to write one for him and www.thehockeyprogram.net here goes.   Game 7 in the Stanley Cup Playoffs are more exciting than any other playoff game in any sport, and usually a goaltender has to play OUT OF HIS MIND, and tonight’s Player of the Night goes to Corey Crawford of the Chicago Blackhawks.

Peoples exhibit A is above you, the save on the penalty shot against Burrows, turned the wave of momentum towards Luongo and the Canucks.

Peoples exhibit B will be added now, but if you were watching the game you know it was his fabulous 3 saves in a row with less than 5 minutes to go including the final reverse dog position glove save on Ryan Kesler which cemented his selection as Player of the Night.

Even in taking the loss Crawford outplayed every Goaltender in the playoffs in Games 4-7 and mistakes made by his defensemen cost him and the Blackhawks the opportunity to move on.

Final Stats  38 S 36 Sv 65:16 and our Fantasy POTN.

About Chris Wassel

Simply I am a sports writer whose first loves will always be hockey and food. As we attempt to fix the site which has fallen into some disrepair (okay a lot), any and all help is always appreciated. For now, everything will channel through on a post by post basis. As always, let's have some fun!
