That poor sad turkey up there…all gone. Well the fun thing is about the offseason that we have to say goodbye to some old friendly columns. The PWR Rankings are now gone and Coachspeak will be after Saturday sadly. However, do not be sad. In the coming weeks, we are going to start spotlighting some online and retail stores you should be checking out. They could even be in your area and you do not even know it.
Why are we doing this? Really it is simple. Its to get the word out that this is the perfect time of year to buy hockey jerseys, equipment, and the such. Deals are usually being offered because after all, it is the offseason. Hell I am sure The NHL Store will have some deals at some point in the summer as well. The message is really twofold here. We really are trying to aggressively get the word out for these places. Sometimes they cannot on their own and sometimes this is just another avenue to get their product across to you, the fan.
Many of us hockey fans play the sport or enjoy the sport in more than just a casual way. We are of a different breed to be honest. First up next week will be the fine folks from Pure Hockey and then there will be quite a few more.
