More playoff excitement today on This Day In Hockey History.  On this day 35 years ago, well I think Flyer fans simply know the rest here.  History was made and has not in Philly since.  Moment and video time.

 

 

May 27, 1975


Bernie Parent shut out Buffalo 2-0 (his 6th and final career playoff shutout) in Game 6 of the Finals, as the Flyers won their second straight Stanley Cup Championship. Parent became the first back-to-back winner of the Conn Smythe Trophy.
