This Day In Hockey History (5/25)

Once again it is time to see what happened on this day in hockey history.  What could today’s moment be?  I do not know.  Its probably time to take a look before the turkeys crash this post.  Now some video and moment.  This might be better than punch and pie.

Patrick Roy set a playoff record for most career games (among all players) with his 237th appearance, as the Avalanche won 3-2 over the visiting Red Wings, in Game 4 of the Western Conference Finals. He broke the mark of 236 set by Mark Messier.
