The Morning After:
Last night’s scores:

Blackhawks 4, Flyers 3 (OT)
Predictions record: 0-1

My 3 stars from last night:
1. Patrick Kane, CHI
(1 Goal, 2 Assists)
Kane got better as this series progressed, and was able to sneak in the Stanley Cup/overtime winner.
2. Scott Hartnell, PHI (2 Goals)
Hartnell’s Flyers didn’t go down without a fight, and his hard-working goals were proof of that.
3. Daniel Briere, PHI (1 Goal, 2 Assists)
Briere completed the postseason with the most points, and was a big factor in Game 6 and the series.
Unsung hero of the night:
Patrick Sharp
… ‘Sharpie’ had a great game that is going unnoticed. His 2nd period goal halted any momentum Philly had gathered, with his marker coming just 1:58 after the Flyers took a 2-1 lead. Sharp was also a plus-3, and won over 50-percent of his faceoffs.
‘RLD Game-Changing Performance’ of the night:
Patrick Kane
… How could it be anything else?! Kane’s goal took a few moments to be properly celebrated, but it ended the Hawks’ 49-year Cup drought. It’s a goal that will last a lifetime in the city of Chicago.
